Forget what the recommended interval is but it's quite high, but if it makes you feel better then go ahead and change it (I did). Ford sells supercharger oil but the GM stuff, which is the same, is cheaper. You will need something to suck it out, unless you remove and disassemble the front snout. To refill just fill it up till it comes out the hole/plug on the front (make sure it's level)
