Good to see he is doing fine laughing and joking around and such. Probably, joking about a hard head. Seriously, I'm glad he is okay.
from what the news is saying he turned just as the guy fired and is the only reason he is alive to talk about it. It has been a rough 6 months around here for the LEO's. Seattle officer murdered halloween night, 4 lakewood officers killed by one guy while having coffee, a county deputy died right after that in a car accident while on duty, another deputy taken of life support after being shot, and now this.
I have nothing but respect for all you guys in law enforcement. I am lucky to have worked with so many great officers in the past 11 years being an EMT/FF. Stay safe out there guys!

Thank god the trooper survived and is doing well. alot of people attacking officers these days we gotta watch each others backs.
