I bought this truck back in march from a friend of mine at work. Its a 91 k1500, extended cab long bed 4x4. Under the hood lies a 350 and would you believe it, a 5 speed manual tranny. Truck only had 120k miles but its obviously in pretty crappy shape exterior wise. Almost all the clear was gone, some of the white base coat was starting to peel, had various dents and the cab corners were all rusty. Another friend of mine does some body work on the side and I turned it over to him and he worked on it about 2 weeks, removed dents, cut out rusty peices and glued in patch panels, and repainted. Also modified a newer model grill to fit, looks much better imo. Heres 1 before picture, and a few afters. I dont have any interior shots but its in pretty decent condition. I kinda wish I would have gone with a small lift and 33's to make it look more proportional but I didnt want to dump another $1500-2k for the lift and even bigger tires. I went with 16x10 mickey T's, (I didnt realize the offset was so dramatic until I put them on) and 31x11.50 interco TSL's. Definately a weekend truck and not a daily driver by any means. Just thought id throw these up, most of these older trucks are trashed now.

It's not something someone would typically want to restore, but I'm not one to talk. Looks pretty good.

Nice truck , I am real partial to that body style . Had a few over the years . Hard to believe they are getting old enough to restore !

Well I call it restore because of the obvious poor care that it was given, and its over 20 years old now. I guess you could really restore anything reguardless of age? I always wanted a nice looking longbed extended cab 4x4. These new trucks just dont do it for me, especially those 4 door shortbeds that everyone has, yuck. To each their own though
