This is the reason why are lift bars "Traction Bars" are about $90.00 higher than the vendors who are just selling the out of the box version. We spend 2 hours on each set of traction bar brackets to strengthen them and to make sure we sell the most durable product to handle the Lightning's massive torque.

JDM's modified bracket. As you can see the bracket is reinforced on two sides of the bracket.

Stock Bracket BEFORE torqued to specs.

Out of the box Rancho bracket after it was torqued to specs. As you can see the bracket twists and bends which makes driving unsafe.

Here is another picture of the bracket.

Picture of the JDM modified bracket vs. the Rancho stock bracket. Both of these have gone through an install and have been torqued to specs.

Shaun@JDM shown converting the stock bracket to our reinforced JDM bracket.

These pictures show the reason why we will not sell an out of the box Rancho kit. It also shows the extra time and care we put into each of the brackets to make sure their quality is second to none.

Thank you

Looks like beefing up that bracket is a real good idea. Are you beefing up the stock brackets or building new replacements from scratch?
