I cut the ends out/off of the old tubes then used dimes to plug the holes. Then tighten them down over the old fittings on the back of the exhaust manifolds. I can post pics after work, if you like. Cost was 20 cents lol
Could you please so it will give me an idea what I'm getting into

When I took the fittings off of the stock manifolds the threads stripped so I welded the ports shut on the FRPP shortys I used. I also welded stainless nuts on the backside so install would be easier. And it was!

Yeah, my 98 definitely doesn't have that. Never noticed it on another Cobra before either. Very surprised to hear it was on all 96-97s

Okay, I'm totally confused...

All 96 - 98 Cobra's came equipped with EGR and SAI. The ports on the manifolds and the stainless tubing are slightly different on the 98's, but all came factory equipped with them. The pump and vacuum lines were the same.

So everyone is saying it must have been removed before you got the car

Lol, I dunno about everyone, I see one person saying it. (Not that I don't believe him, I'm just saying haha)
Either way, my car def does not have it. Mine was one of the last 150 '98s that were built, not sure if that's got anything to do with it. It's an original New Hampshire car, and was bonestock when I bought it.

That would be the first one I've ever heard of.
