Second Track Day......Meh

my second trip to the track...did another 6 runs.

i had my wife(~130lbs) in the car and my sub(~50lbs) in the back, forgot to take it out before i left.

best time was a 13.566 with a trap of 106.38.

I have a JLT intake, BAMA 91 Performance tune, Heartthrob catback.

overall i was happy with my runs....my reaction time is horrible but i'll get there. i had a hard time getting off of the line a couple times, felt like the engine was bogging down a bit, before it hit 3k RPM, then it would take off and start to get after it.

there wasn't many cars there at all so we left a little after an hour.

I know the DA out there in Vegas can get pretty rough for drag racing.

Keep practicing and pull some weight(wife and sub lol) and times will come down.

On street tires I have better luck just leaving almost at idle...launching at more then 1200rpms or so just causes more spin and worse times.

Try icing down the blower next time as well.

Looks like he has a 2011 GT.

This is not the time for us hot states to go to the track. Wait till fall/winter for fast runs.

I somehow overlooked the actual car. Thought I saw 03 cobra.

Forget the part about ice on the blower haha

i'll lose the wife and the sub next time.

i have the Boss intake and a BBR tune on the way. I'll bring my tuner and switch the BAMA and BBR tune and see if there is any noticeable difference.
