Second gear lock out

I know its been asked 100 xs before but, I was driving the Boss today and a guy on a HD tried to show me up LMAO, anyway when I attempted to shift to second it completely locked me out. Me 13 Gt never locked me out of second, 3rd a bunch. My question what is the easiest thing I can do to solve most of this problem. Is the whiteline bushing the way to go for now?? Also im in the middle of a 470 Cube big block Buick build for my 72 GS so no buying parts (ie Shifter) til the motor is done.

An MGW race spec may fix it. If not, you'll need to get a new clutch.

Ya as I said above I cant buy any parts right now due to the Buick build. I replaced a bushing on my 13 Gt and it helped but I don't remember what company it was. now I see the whiteline bushing and was wondering if that's what I need.

Because of the remote shifter on the MT-82; under heavy load, 2nd or 4th lock out

Thanks, 949 it claims a lot of noise vibration did you experience that??

No, none. The only thing that caused noise was the Torque Arm. No longer on the vehicle , so nothing coming from front.

Buy the MGW shifter arm bushings, they are cheap at $25. Will do wonder.
