Now that I have been helped setting up my tuner for data logging and or monitoring, I have a question.
The cable that connects the tuner to the car, is not the best design for driving while connected.
The USB plug end extends down where it could be hit while clutching.
In short, is there a cable with a 90* end that would not extend down so far?
I guess the ngauge has to hook up in the same place, but may have a different plug on the gauge end. Thanks for any help.

That is looking good. Hope the quality is up there. If anyone finds just the angle adapter please post.

Ended up ordering the cable I posted above. I'll report back once I receive it.

You can barely see it once it's installed. Works great. I would highly recommend this mod.

thanks for posting the update. I will be all over that. Are you going to leave the tuner connected full time or remove for overnight or longer shutdowns?

I am going to leave it all the time since I like using it for monitoring key parameters like IAT2, fuel pressure, voltage, and AFR.

I use mine to monitor only right now. Still waiting on the new cable and dry weather, but I monitor IAT2, Timing, Knock, etc.

I initially just wanted to see if I could get it to work, then I thought I might send it to Lund to make sure it looks like it should. I got it to work the other day and quickly realized that it's all useless information to me because I really have no idea what "bad" numbers would look like. I think I need a crash course for dummies on the basics so I can at least catch glaring items that are out of spec.

Is the IAT2 on the X4 just the one that says intake air temp? I haven't seen any other choice for it.

I got my cable and have it installed. A piece of cake. I zip tied the excess up under the dash like the posted pic.
The round SCT cable will slip in behind the plastic on the edge of the dash. Thanks for finding the cable. I set the tuner up to monitor and left it connected. Not being a daily driver, I hope it does not drain the battery.
