SCT X3 won't initialize

Howdy. Using a SCT x3 with livewire 6.1. Haven't data logged the car in a couple years so I thought it was time for a refresher. Plugged the tuner into the OBD II port and into the computer fired up the software and got to the point below. To get around this problem I am trying to find the ECU code to load manually. Very early 2003 Cobra here.....and help with where find the ECU code?

Interestingly when I inserted a made up code it would let me select the PIDs, then onto the data log page. but when I hit the green button to start data logging I got the following message.
