Different companies will "advertise" HP/TQ numbers to get you to buy buy buy. When it comes down to it, both software companies simply just change the tuning math inside your factory's computer. If you set your A/F and spark timing, (in your case camshaft-phase) EXACTLY the same in BOTH pieces of software, you'll more than likely come out with near-exact RWHP #'s.

Either software will work fine.

Bingo. It's the tuner and the tune that makes the real difference.

i vote sct seeing how most tuners dont use diablo's anymore

I've always been under the impression that SCT uses actual Ford software, while Diablo hacks its way in so to speak.

I don't believe Ford released their software to either company. SCT seems to have the platform of choice for tuners. It's all about the coding.
