SCT,BigStuff3,FAST which one to use

I have a 04 Cobra 3.4 whip I was told that SCT can only support about 850RWHP what is the best engine management system to use pros and cons I already have SCT Pro racer would I benifit switching

Thanks Even the basics of tuning book I got from SCT said the system would peg out but if its working for you guys I will give it a try before I make the switch Im hoping for a lil over a 1,000RWHP with a 5.3L and a 100shot on top of the 3.4 whip

The motor setup will be a MMR 1500 5.3L 3.4L whipple GT heads stage 3 with bigger valves and stage three cams custom headers and a 80-100 shot whipple has a lot of 900RWHP + 3.4L whipple setups and theirs a few 4.0 doing a 1,000RWHP on blower only

What motor would net me 1,000RWHP you think

What motor would net me 1,000RWHP you think

you say alot of 900rwhp whipple 3.4 cars... im just interested in seeing 1... can you post a link? Im not doubting, just havent seen any

I did a actual google search and their is a bunch of gt500 and ford gt supercars at that power range I also called whipple and they ran one all the way to the 960 range.if the 100 shot gets me close to a 1000 I would be happy

Your comparing a 5.4L with a longer stroke and better heads. Think the cams have more lift as well, To your 4.6 based 5.3L.. Dont let the numbers fool you into thinking you can make that power. I also know where you got the 960 number from, That is a built Shelby GT-500 block, with heads, cams, a 4.0L Whipple, and on E-85..

Something odd about nitrous at those power levels is they dont seem to return alot of power for the shot size but deliver alot more torque.

I'm using a boss block with a 3.7 bore and less stroke than a 5.4 to come out with a 5.3 that can turn 8,000rpms and it will have ford gt heads stage three ported with big cams the car also only runs on MS109 also with the bigger bore 5.3 than a 5.4 block the heads will flow better

The motor will be built by MMR it's not a 4.6 block it's a Boss block and the car will have custom headers built for it because I need them up so when I come down from a launch it dosent crush them.

Yeah so with a better motor than a gt500 hundred custom fuel system icebox in the trunk 3.4 maxed out and a 100 shot I shouldn't b far off the 1000 mark

All this work to make the blower work when you could just get some snails and you'd get the power you want and more with a turn of a knob. Seems like you got the money.
