Is it faster than the MILLENIUM FALCON? I watch some movie I think called Deep Impact and used to get worried about something hitting Earth but after awhile...it’s just the movies rights?

man, don't even get me started on that. For one thing: if a comet or asteroid is coming to you, you don't go fly behind it, then fly through its debris to land on it. You get in front of it, where you already are, and match speeds with it. Then, dense iron deposits on a small body? Seriously? Most meteors and comets are basically piles of gravel or buckets of ice chips.

Nope. I no longer have a good enough telescope. Going to have to fix that.

Solid point flying at it vs behind it...dust and ice and rock= a comet...I wonder who is the worlds best oil drilling team ...just in case we need a team to dig an 800 ft hole on a meteor
