question, in a manual transmission, is it more fuel efficiant to give the car less throttle and bring the revs higher before you shift around ~4k or shift at ~2k and give the car heavier throttle? :shrug:

Depends on the airflow, and how much fuel the MAF tells the computer to inject given that amount of air.
