The wife and I went to Whitehouse for our honeymoon this past January. The bus ride from the airport to the resort wasn't nearly as bad as the online reviews suggest, but it is a little long - about an hour and a half or so. The couple we were with complained the entire way, apparently they thought of themselves as royalty by they way they acted, though. Maybe it just depends on who you are, we certianly didn't mind it. The resort was great. Food was awesome, beach was awesome, many bars and restaurants to choose from. If you like to drink, you will definitely enjoy yourself... the Jamaicans definitely have no problems in that department. :D EDIT - One thing I will say, my wife and I are pretty young (Early 20's). The crowd at Whitehouse seemed a bit older. We aren't much into partying/clubbing, so it didn't bother us, but if that's what you're looking for then you probably won't find it there. It was a nice getaway for us to just be by ourselves which is what we were looking for in a honeymoon, but that may not be what you want. If we were to go again with friends, we'd probably choose one of the other resorts.
