Exactly what I was referring to. And honestly Get real, to say you have the rev limit set at 7800 and it always shifts at 7300... i highly doubt it... IF the limiter is set at 7800, it will hit 7800... If it Is perfect and always shifts at 73, then set limiter at 7500... Nothing is perfect, and im sure your car has seen many times above another thing since this is up... You say it shifts at 7300, and your nitrous cuts off at 7400... why does it cut off after the shift, the car is going to let off the throttle and letting off while still spraying is ok, what is not ok is getting back on it. (from what i understand, explained to me by a reputable tuning shop, feel free to correct me if im mistaken) so then if that is true, either its shifting after, or you were just a ticking time bomb anyway. In the end you have a blown engine, which does suck, you cant argue with that. Now you have the chance to build a higher compression engine, throw some more nitrous to it, and have a sweet setup. Or can get FI and have that kind of power all the time, and spray when you want even more! haha. Good luck with your build and hopefully this thread at the least helps educate people that when you add power, its just a matter of time before you will need to build the motor to handle that much more power.
