I have a 2000 saleen supercharged car and im throwing a 2004 motor in with a kenne bell 2.1 2v kit because i found a great deal with a low mileage motor and blower set up so i just swapped. First question- Do i have to rewire maf since its off a supercharged car prior to? The KB kit comes with 90mm and the saleens were a 80mm but the splicing of the IAC to the intake plenum (think thats right?) by the supercharger is already there from prior saleen harness. So my question is does the upgraded 90mm need the 6 pin maf connector(which is found in 01+ wire harnesses)? or is the 4 pin maf connector fine? The 90mm maf only has 4 pins inside it which i gotta think the 1 and 6 pin are the IAC sensors (grey and grey/red) which is already wired to the intake plenum. So i think im fine because its like those two pins are not in use with the connector in the 90mm maf? just need reassurance. 2nd question- How can i reconnect my saleen boost gauges to the kenne bell set up. I think the 99-04 pillar pod is electrical? need some help here not very sure at all. 3rd question- I hear a noise in the pulley/belt region and it sounds like its coming from the idler pulley and belt tensioner. I changed both of those and still the noise is coming from it. The sound is like a screech and goes away when i rev my rpms. Also when i put pressure to the belt tensioner when the belt is running it goes away. Could it simply be the belt? I just dont want to guess and keep buying new stuff. Very weird sound never heard it before, the blower has only a 1,000 mile i cant imagine its the KB gears. Kenne bell wasnt much help they usually just brush you off when you have a question so please any help would be great especially the belt sound. Its driving me crazy. Thanks
