S281 wing on 1995 Cobra?

Hi, I've been viewing this forum for a long time but this is my first post
I was just wondering why it says that the s281 wing will not fit on a 1994-1995 Cobra?
Is there another company besides Saleen that offers a wing that will fit on a 1995 Cobra?

I'm no genius, but I think there might be an issue with your third brake light wiring in the 94/95's. Nothing you can't overcome though IMO.

The 94-95 COBRA has a different style spoiler and the bolt holes are in different locations than the 96-98's.
You can always either redrill your trunk or get a used one with the correct bolt holes. My friend Sammy got a V6 lid for 50.00 because he wanted to go wingless for a while, and he even got the same color

You will have to weld the old holes (there are 4 but you just need to weld the 2 closest to the rear window) and drill 2 new ones in a different location. The 94-95's have the "claw" spoiler so that is our problem.

^^^^^^ Hit the nail on the head.. I have the s-281 on mine.. I love not having a third brake light.

This is the way to go...especially if you can find one the same color.

Saleen part #032-030 should fit. It is the S351 wing. The holes I believe are the same.

The S351 wing I believe is the ugly one that sticks up off the trunk and is kinda square. I wouldn't dare put that thing on my car. The S281 is the only spoiler I've seen I would put on my car...and thus why one is at the paint shop right now. ;-)

The s351 wing does not bolt up directly either. Believe me, I've had both the 351, 281, and now the T1 on my car. All those wings will bolt up to a 94-98 GT or V6 or 96-98 cobra no problem.

Just keep the factory decklid and spoiler somewhere safe in case you decide to go back someday. Plus, it's an uncommon piece that was only on 94-95

I love the 95 cobra wing,
but that s281 wing looks pretty amazing as well!

I have a decklid with a saleen S281 spoiler already on it, they are painted mystic though. They are for sale in the market. It would probably cost $200-$350 to have them repainted your color.I want $200 for the combo+shipping.

If you decide to go with the S-281, go with Kaenan's version. It's much better quality and uses a better attaching method than the Saleen piece.
