s281 spoiler opinions

I know its a topic beat to death but im not asking for pictures lol. Im looking to see if anyone in here has used any of the ebay sellers as the price is good but I am very concerned about quality issues. I know AM sells the kaenen spoiler but I cannot justify dropping 260 on a spoiler when there are others that can be bough for less than half the price.

So, any of you guys tried out the ebay guys? :beer:

Personally I wouldn't buy any of those due to the feedback %. Read through the feedback and see what other people are saying about the fitment issues before you buy. I'm sure you get what you pay for, but if you car is a 10 footer like mine is, then it's probably worth it.

I have a kaenan on my car and the fit is perfect, the real saleen s-281 i bought before it was a genuine piece of crap compared to the kaenan. Like stated above, you get what you pay for with the ebay items.

i have a kaenan 281 on my 95 GTS when i bought it in 2000. i sold the car in 07 but kept the wing off of it. then one of my friends did the same & needed a place to store her wing & i seen them both just sitting there & pulled them out for a comparison lol and :dw: wow two mos later the guy i sold my 95 GTS i bought it back & was board again & did a on car comparison

This is the guy I bought mine from last year. Fit is excellent!

I suspect he set up another eBay acct to sell them since the one I bought came from the same area (San Ysidro, CA as well I think)

Also, the guy who had a group purchase on wiper cowls on SVTPerf purchased them from the same guy.

got the spoiler. fit and quality is really good. had to drill three holes bigger,it also has three holes across for a total of seven mounting holes.not bad for 160 bucks.time for paint.

all three of those ads look like they are the same person. Each has a user name referring to high quality carbon fiber, and the price comes out very similar when figuring in shipping.

it may l;ook similar, but it's not. the generic ones are more flat, and don't flow well on the car.
