I been trying to find information on the limit of the stock fuel pump for a 97 Cobra. Mine went out and I'm going to get a 255 Walbro. I know I don't need one that big because I'm N/A, but what is the rwhp for the stock 96-97 fuel pumps. I know the 98's are different. I have short runner intake, comp cams. 106060, bassani midlength headers, steeda pulleys. I read that the limit was 350 horsepower?

Honestly for the 100 bucks it costs and the hour it takes to swap the pump, i wouldnt chance it. The stock pump may support 320 or even 350, but if for some reason it is clogged and flows less and you hurt your motor... anyway risk/ reward. They are cheap to replace so if youre shooting for real power then just replace it.
