I have a friend that has a viper with run flats. We was wondering if lowering the pressure would help it hook better. I do not have any experience with RF's so I do not know.

it would but not like a regular tire. the reason a runflat sucks so bad as a drag tire is the sidewalls are ungodly hard, which is what gives them the runflat ability.
I'd ditch the shit RFs and grab a mans tire if he wants to race.
