Which of these three would you rather have if you had to chose between the 3 in a road track race? I saw a video where with the same professional driver the 415 HP Roushe lapped the track 2 seconds faster than the shelby, HUGE difference.. Now what about the SVT Cobra R?

The R for sure. It's a factory built racecar. It may be down 100 or so horsepower from the Shelby, but it has weight and the like on it's side.

ac427cobra/Bruce has both a '00R and a GT500. He's open tracked both quite a bit and claims the GT500 would eat a '00R around a track if both were stock.

if one is going for the best single lap time. the gt500 is great for laps at a time but times will slow as laps climb due to will give the front brakes dieing, or the blower hitting heat stroke, or both.

To hot lap and then drive home...Shelby GT-500. Has there been any talk about a "R" model of it? Like a GT-500KR for the showroom stock racing stuff?
