I went to get gas today and pulled up next to a bright yellow Roush 427. I have never seen one so I wanted to ask the guy about his car but he never looked over.

Has anyone ever run one? How does it stack up to a stock Terminator?

They are really nothing special in the power department. The Roushcharger sucks.

The suspension and brakes are good though.

the roush is a great handling car real good at a road course track. however they have a stock long block with a blower making 390 at the crank not too much competion for a cobra in that department roush charger sucks.

The car makes 435hp and 400 ftlb for the year 2009. The car's run okay for what they are and they handle really good. But i don't really think that they are worth the money imo.

Mine made 380 RWHP stock. Very very very fun car to drive. A cobra would beat it in a straight line but not on the track. Get's a lot of attention and can be purchased used at a reasonable price. Mine had every option and 3000 miles when I bought it. Paid 32,000 for it and sold it two years later with 7500 miles for 31,000.

The day I delivered it to the new owner

I would rather have a Stage 3. A 427 is just a downgrade Stage 3 even though they make a little more HP because of their exhaust. Stage 3's come with forged wheels where 427's come with cast wheels even though they look the same, etc.
