ok i am lookin at a roots type blower for my 01. is it safer than a procharger or something like that. and well the reason i want a roots is that i am just going to be doing pretty much stoplight to stoplight. plus the whine is pretty cool. what all will i need to replace besides injectors, forged rods/piston/crankshaft i think maybe a cam.. and well if there is a race between a procharger and a roots lets say same boost from stoplight to stoplight who would win? and well i just figured also that roots would be easier to maintian or something. well just a thought

I recommend you buy a S/C kit. And not piece one together. As for it being a roots. I don't know of a kit for the 01 Cobra.
what do you mean piece one together. and well maybe i can wait untill jan 04 cause thats when kenny brown is supposed to have their blower. hopefully
