i live in socal and was wondering what the law says regarding having a rollcage in a street car. the car is a 1971 datsun 510 and wasn't crash tested to my knowledge. since there are no crash tests, would it be legal to have a cage in my car? and what about newer/other cars. the cage only stays in the drivers compartment, so any area outside of the drivers compartment that was made to crumple will still be able to crumple. anyother leo's know anything about this? thanks in advance guys, keep up the good work!
