Roll racing starting gear -- 40mph - 60 -80?

Just curious what gear should you be in when you are trying to floor it and go your fastest?
I know gears and tires can change things -- I am most curious about my 2011 svtp with stock ratio tires.

2nd for 40 and 60, assuming tires have grip, 3rd for 80

put a pair of R888's out back (285/35) air down to about 28psi

I always do roll races from 50 in 2nd gear. Seems to hit the hardest while still having traction.

Depends on power and gears. I'm in 2nd for 40s and 3rd for 60s. Don't do too much of it though.
