To be Legal for NHRA (Im planing on running 10.40's in the 1/4) and SCCA (Road racing events), What do I need to do to my 2003 Cobra as in for Roll Cage/Roll Bar?

i would say i would go wiht a 10 point, that should cover you for the dragstrip and be suitable for the scca racing
Just got my 07 rule book in yesterday.

This weekend was hectic, I just started going through the rule book, gonna take it to work tonight and hopefully get you a answer.
If you ever read the NHRA rule book you know its not just cut and dry.
Not to mention my rules and the full body cars rules are a lot different so I will actually have to do some major reading.

Reading all the class rules now.
This is to run in a NHRA event.
Looks like you need
1. Roll Bar- 6PT. swing open permitted for entry.
If you break 9.99 or 135MPH trap alot will change.
2. Diveshaft loop.
3. Clutch scattersheild.
4. fire jacket- SFI spec 3.2A/1
5.Helmet- SA2000 or 2005 is what I'd go, there are others though.
6. 5PT harness - SFI spec 16.1
