Long story short, I found a rock chip on the hood of my FiST. :whine: I can see that it went down to the metal and am worried about rust. I have never attempted to correct a rock chip and normally just take it to the body shop. I have a bottle of the touch up paint for the car but am scared i will screw it up if I try to wet sand and buff it once it fill in the chip. I have read some instructions online and it seems straight forward but i am worried about the wet sanding portion. I dont want to screw anything up on a car with less than 6k miles.

At this point I was wondering if anyone knows anyone who does mobile paint correction or can help me with getting this eye sore fixed. Its about the size of a pencil eraser on the driver side of the hood about 3/4 of the way up the hood.

Thanks for any help!
