Robotic suits?

So after watching Ironman, does anyone else feel like in this day and age we should be able to make a robotic suit for the military? Of course not one that can fly at supersonic speeds or one with AI built in, but a suit built of some kind of metal shielding with super strength.

I seen stories about how it was attempted years ago and it was a failure but surely we should be able to now.

there was one on futureweapons a while back. it is possible, and sort of creepy if you watch it.

Found this, guess they came out with a version a few years back and is about to go into mass production, can help a person walk or lift something 10x more than normal. If the military poured in like a billion, they can easy make this small enough to be worn under clothes.

We should build an Arch Reactor and make mini ones so that I can have one of those effin suits lol. I am sure in the near future we will have robo-suits.

Pretty sure these are already made, like in the videos above. They are super expensive and no way we have the money to make enough for all of our soldiers. We could just give them to front line guys or special forces, but they seem to be doing pretty well on their own.
