maddisons jump was absoloutley straight up insane! i was watching it live(wish i was in vegas), and they were showing the arch from the starting platform and it really didn't seem as big as they were making it out to be. then he takes off and you really get the idea of how HUGE that jump is when he is in mid-air beside the arch! he over-jumped the landing big time too, he was WAY too low! amazed that he was able to hang on to that! "not as crazy as some might think", sorry be evel never jumped for height, and i certainly dont know of any other 'daredevil' that does either. why? because it is FAR more dangerous than length. he falls from that, odds are its death. if he falls on a long jump(like his new years jump last year *see below*), chances are that he will live, albeit with quite a few broken bones.

it wont get the credit it deserves, but it really is quite a spectacular feat. like rhys said after the jump, its about impossible to set something like this up perfect for a truck, because of the huge amount of variables involved. you cant just "fix it" mid flight like on a bike. he was going to do this last new years, but got injured when the kicker didn't fall during practice:

It was an awesome jump. I don't see how he made kept it under control coming back down. As for the Kenevil jump whats up with that? I have always been a huge fan of his but that is some crap.
