Yeah...sad news. I heard about it yesterday. There was an article in the paper that referenced his death followed an undisclosed surgery he had recently undergone.

Man, we are losing a lot of hot rodding pioneers. In the last couple of years or so we have lost Ronnie Sox, Dick Landy, Wally Parks and Robert E. Peterson to name a few. Now Boyd. Wow. Love 'em or hate 'em they made some significant contributions to the car thing.
