rim repair info needed

i just traded my 03 cobras for a set of black deep dish bullits with the polished lip but the lip on them have some kind of scratches or blemishes maybe clear coat pealing. they are not indented like scratches they actually feel upraised like on the surface but im not sure what it is or how to remove them. any suggestions

I have something similar on my deep dish bulllitts. What I did was to wetsand with 2000 grit paper and then polish. It still didn't look right, so I went to 600 grit paper, then 1500 and sprayed clearcoat. Then wetsanded that with 2000 and polished. It looks much better but not perfect.

dude those are not polished lips....that would be machined

haha well thanks for the correction they were i had them sanded down to fix the chipping clear coat and then polished them so now they are polished. haha and for trade they look great now
