3 guys walk into a hotel and ask for a room. The clerk says it will be $30 for the night. Each guy pays $10. The next morning the manager calls and tells them they have been overcharged and is refunding them $5. Each guy takes back $1 and the give the hotel a tip of $2.
If they started out paying $30 minus the $5 they got back
each guy really paid $9. So 9 times 3 is 27 plus the $2 tip is only $29. Where is the other dollar?:shrug:
