So i'm getting a t56 setup for my GT which is coming with a used McLeod twin disk and was wondering if it's necessary for me to resurface my flywheel on my car currently just to be safe or am i worrying too much?

Googled around for some answers and was finding answers all over the place. While doing so i also was reading that i should maybe have the flywheel/pp balanced? Although those were mainly on ls forums.

Any answers/insight appreciated!

Aluminum flywheels can't be resurfaced, you just preplace the steel insert. A steel flywheel should be resurfaced. Balancing can be done for extra insurance but probably isn't necessary.
