Restoring my 70 Honda CT70

Been powder coating for about a year now, and the friends and I decided to restore our trail 70's. I got a 70 3 speed ruby red.
1 coat of Silver
1 coat of candy ruby red
1 final coat of clear to give added depth and clarity.
In the middle of putting her back together. Some pics to show the progress

Even got the inside all coated

ive got a 81 z50 that just lost 3rd gear the other week Time for a teardown and see what broke. Fun little bikes to rip around on haha

Uber jealous....Grew up riding one of those and then graduated to my Honda CR80R....

My best friend had the gold colored CT70 with the black lettering on it if you remember that.....I always told him to keep it and not sell it....

Cant wait to see the finished project....

I had a 91 z50 when I was 7. Got it for Christmas when I was a kid from my dad. We beat the crap out of it. I saved it for when I had a kid. My son is 8 months old. I can't wait to restore it for him. These bikes are so much fun.

Actually put a Lifan 125cc. Since the 70 was about to go out. Got it sprocketed as high as I can. The 125 effortlessly pushes it around 65 top. Ride it everywhere. So much fun. More pictures to come for sure
