Hello, thank you for having me here. I have just rescued a 2001 convertible sitting outside for many years. Apparently the timing cover was removed to replace the timing chains. It was never assembled back. I managed to assemble the engine but few questions remain:
1. The top right bolt on the right bank holds a small black sheet metal bracket. How shouldn't it be oriented and what is it's purpose?
I attached pictures for clarity
2The ac line going to the condenser has a Hook shaped.bracket that seems to be attached to the nearest timing cover stud but it is a hard line and seems quite far from the stud. I don't want to start bending it until I'm sure that is where it goes. Picture attached as well.
3I have a left over bracket that seems to hold either a 1/4" or so wiring harness or tubing but could not figure out where it goes. Maybe someone here will recognize it.
Pic attached hed as well.
Thank you for your help!!!

1) Can you take a wider shot? I'm not sure what bracket would go there.

2) You can just bend the bracket to reach the stud. I bent that bracket many times in my Procharger days.

3) I think that's for a power steering line. It would bolt to the bottom of the pump IIRC.

Thank you.
This is the top outer right bank timing cover bolt. I saw this bracket on it in a picture online. The bolt has an m8 stud in it. I am not sure if the bolt or the bracket go there but it did in the pic i saw. Marked pic attached.

Never mind there is a clip in the harness right next to it. It fits perfectly

1) You can bend it as said previously.

2) You got it. The Christmas Tree retainer pushes in there. Damn, I thought my engine bay was pretty clean.

3) I need to look more for this.
