well, my AOD finally gave today after 111K hard miles. i dont have a lot of money, so i want to go the cheapest route. would installing a 5 spd rather than replacing the AOD be cheaper? if so, what is all required? where should i look for parts? whats years (etc 94-96?) of transmissions will work with my GT. if this would not be cheaper, does anyone know of a place here in TX where i can get a rebuild or a used tranny?
