I had my car in because I thought the bearing was going bad and I was right. The shop had a new put on and pressed into the hub and the guy told me that the hub was slightly damaged! But not enough to were I he thinks I should replace it. He put the car back together before telling me this and said that if the bearing goes out to soon that he would go half on the next job including parts.

So should I just get them both replaced and not just wait for the bearing to go bad?

I dont know how much you paid for someone to put a bearing in the hub but a hub costs around 50-80 dollars depending where you go and you can put in on in about 20-30 min. I just did both of my front hubs 2 weeks ago because they were bad, pretty easy task. Just my 2 cents
