I'm turning 24 on Jan 6th. About 2 months ago I received a notification from the DMV that I need a new license. So, I immediety paid it online. I'm getting a little worried because it's taking a little bit of time to get my new one. Here is my question. Since I paid it, will it be in DMV and police databases that I am current in the event of a traffic stop? I still have my online receipt. Would that be sufficient proof that I am not just driving with an expired license? Please only chime in if you know for sure. Thanks.

DMV usually takes till the last minute to get you the license. But I would make a copy of the receipt and put it in your wallet right next to the license. That should be good enough for a traffic stop.
