Took off the S/C today to make ready for the ported one I'll be getting from Bill (wikdsvt). After only 24k miles, I honestly didn't expect the flaking to be noticable. For those of you who have removed your eatons, I was wondering how bad yours looked.
You can't see it in the second pic, but there was a nasty amount of oil residue in the upper plenum, and on the TB as well. Luckily I've added an oil sep so it probably could have been worse! Anyway, I'll post up more pics when I clean the I/C and get my new ported noisemaker.
