I think I broke the ignition switch rod actuator in my 2003 Cobra. When I turn the switch off, everything stays on as if the key was still in the car. So I am trying to take off the steering wheel to check, however I am running into issues. Part of the hole where to thread the steering wheel puller broke. I have attached pictures for reference. Any ides how to take off the steering wheel now?

I had this happen when i swapped to an FR500 wheel. You can use a standard 2 jaw puller to get the wheel off. Worked just fine for me.

Put the steering wheel bolt back in about five turns. put both knees against the bottom of the wheel- pedal side, then both hands on top of the wheel pull and release in quick jerking motions, if you can lock the wheel rock it back and forth against the lock a few times will help loosen it.

I didnt even need a puller....just put hands at 3'oclock and 9'oclock positions and pulled hard one hand at a time....rocking it....and it came off
