I recently found out there are 2 ways people say Reese's. How do you pronounce it, Rees-IS or Rees-EES?

Reese's is often mispronounced, much like nuclear often is.

The correct way: Rees-IS - New Clear

The retard way: Rees-EES - New Kyuh Lur

it probably varies based on where you live, just like every other word in the dictionary.

Yes I agree but it just doesn't make sense to me to call it Rees-ees. I wonder if these people pronounce the word pieces like that too. I would probably laugh in their face if I heard piec-ees.

It probably doesn't help me that I live in MARYLAND! I've tried like hell to make sure what little Baltimore accent I have doesn't come to the surface.

Couldn't agree with you more. People do the same thing with a burger place we have out in texas as well.

Correct pronunciation: whataburger

What the most educated say: waterburger

I know two that actually work for Reese's and they both say it as the first option. And since they work for them I'll take their word for it one been employed since 1984 the other 1998.

On top of the fact that it's just grammatically correct...
