Redline hood struts-drill aftermarket hood

Anyone installed these hood struts on a aftermarket hood? Any problems?

Unfortunately no, but looking to do the same on my 2007 with a Cervinis hood. My body guy says pretty easy to do. Just don't drill through hood ! Do have Redlines on my 13 Shelby and love them

No problems installing them and they've been working flawlessly for going on 7 years.
Doah! missed the part re. aftermarket hoods. Mine are on a stock hood.

I put a pair on my 12 with an aftermarket Cervinis Cobra R hood. Install was pretty straightforward, just make sure you’re drilling into the portion of the hood that is double walled and not the single wall section along the fender edge of the hood. Can post pictures with measurements tomorrow if that would be helpful.
