I drive a Scat Pack. I'm also not making statements that sound factual like 'a ZL1 1LE is a better car'....lol. Better if you are less than 6' tall and never want to use the back seat? Better if you want to get dragged by Hellcats and GT500s on the street? Or, better in a specific environment of a closed course race track? Yeah, that's a very small part of what 99% of anyone does with any car...but if thats what makes it BETTER for YOU, then that's your opinion, not fact. All this said, my lease is up this week and I have cross shopped cars like nobody's business. I have been looking at C7 Grand Sports, Hellcats, and some Mustangs. Even looked at some BMW and Audi stuff. My latest discussion is happening with a guy at Tesla (doh). Bottom line I want something faster than I am in now, that I can somewhat afford a monthly payment on. Brand matters not. Fast does. I don't expect anyone to want the same list of cars that I do, and I understand and respect that everyone has a different means of obtaining their 'fast fix'. My only issue with Mustangs is they are everywhere. Every intersection I pull up to I see at least one. Several of my buddies drive them. There's 3 of them in the parking lot here at work. Its the most affordable option i am looking at, and a coworker just got a 20 GT for 0 down, 0% and claims they never even ran his credit, so its like they are giving them away. But, if it makes the most sense, I'll be driving one and will be seeking the cheapest way to make it faster :) Just to put it out there, last month I found a local brand new 19 Redeye in Orlando for $64K. Thats a hell of a lot of car and potential for that kind of cash...
