my battery died and i picked up a optima red top. i got the 35/75 model and it is too narrow for the battery tray. is the right battery? what do you guys have. i look at the dimensions on the 34 and they're almost the same.

I have the 34u. was to wide but I just shoved it in their. Its a snug fit, but it does fit.
Yeah i had to jam my shit in there really wedged it in.
Well i got it to work, one of the plastic adapters that came with it worked great.
Yep, need the plastic adapter & they fit good.
I've had mine in there for 2 years with it just "barely" fitting. Optima needs to make one for our car's tray. Barely passes inspection.
