Valve Covers are coming off and I will be powdercoating them in the next few weeks. I normally wouldn't ask, but what do you think? Should I go red or black?? I have a new intercooler tank that will be black with the red lid.

black...red would be over powering.

Get them jet hot coated to match your blower.

Definatly black, red would be to much. Clean engine by the way.
I was thinkin' the same thing, nice call Jeb. Black would look better, better than red but truthfully I think the brighter clean look of the factory covers look the best.

i would go black withsome hint of red maybe striping around the creavouses or something

I think a relatively thick red stripe of some kind would look really neat on there too. :burnout:

IMO I would either have them polished, or chromed if you are going to go through the trouble of taking them off. You need some contrast in that engine bay. With black they will blend in, and red would be very cheesy looking.
