Has anyone successfully ever gotten the speedo gauge and AC/Heater controls to illuminate red? I’m hard pressed to find a way to make the stock equipment glow red at night. Thanks in advance for any info.

the climate controls have some color on the backing plate but you can replace the light bulbs with colored LEDs, not sure what the net effect will be or if you can scrape off some of the coloring from the back side.

Yes, of course the option exists to swap out the bulbs for colored ones, but unsure what color would be needed to produce red through the green film. Wondering if you or anyone has tried tackling this already. Or if my only option is to try to get rid of the green film first, if there’s a sure fire method or write up for doing that.
I haven't seen anyone try and I've been around these cars awhile. I think you're SOL on the dash gauges unless you go custom.
