I don't think you would have a problem, but it is always safe to check with the laws of your home state.
A little off the subject, but as officers every once in a while we get the "You can't videotape me, you don't have my permission." Well that's BS, if you are out in public you can be videotaped and there is nothing you can do about it.
It amounts to a R.E.P., do you have a reasonable expectation of privacy? Under Federal Law only one person in the interaction has to know of and allow the recording.
Holy crap that's a good link. Especially interesting is the "business telephone call exemption"...which allows businesses to monitor personal calls of its employees on their business owned equipment.
