I tried a search but couldn't find anything. I am hoping the third time is a charm on my rear end. I have the dreaded gear whine and I'm looking to try someone other than my local ford dealer this time. Any suggestions?

This is not the exact answer your looking for, but after my suspension upgrades the whine starting getting to me as well. On my 3rd set.

Their are multiple types of dynamat. Thin stuff that sticks and thick stuff that rests on top.

I had them lay 1 layer of the thin under the rear seat, and a layer of the thick under the seat and in the trunk.

It makes a huge difference, but it will cost a little weight.
