Recaro Seat Question

Recently purchased a set of Recaros from a 2012 Boss 302. I also have some red stripe covers i plan to swap onto them asap. Before i do all that im trying to make sure they will not cause a light on my dash.

1) Is it as simple as just installing the passenger seat and seeing if the passenger occupancy sensor sets off the light?
2) Are there other things i need to do to activate the light?
3) If i do swap the seat and the light comes on will it go off if i put the old seat back in the car?
4) Is there a number or code on the bottom of the seat i could check for to make this simpler?

If the seats do cause the light i plan to buy a 2011 passenger seat and cannibalize the passenger occupancy diaphragm from the base of the seat.

Any help would be appreciated.

I did a similar swap last year but I was lucky enough to find the Ford Racing seats with the old part number so it was plug and play into my 11 GT500.

I'm not sure 100% about the 12 Boss seats but I think you will get the light because of the different air bags they put in the 12+ cars. From what I recall, they weren't compatible with the 2011 cars.

Good luck with the swap though, one of the best mods I've done so far- and those 2013+ covers are beautiful.
