Rearend leaking oil.

Oil is coming out of the vent tube any ideas? Non

svtpp it's a base also it's not overfilled or at least it wasn't.

This is not uncommon. Bobs auto sport sells an axle reservoir to capture the vented oil.

This is not common. Check lube level again and watch for something getting uncommonly hot, unless you are road racing or etc.

How do you know that it wasn't over filled? Did you do a gear swap or fluid swap?

pretty sure the OP had his rearend replaced by ford for gear whine.

Close it had a bent axle all done under warranty this is the 2nd time it has done this.The rearend only had a 100 miles since they thought they had fixed the leak.It still has a vibration at 65mph to 80mph.It never did have any leaks before the axle change.
